Our property development and funds management business has been in operation for over 20 years. We acquire income-producing property increase rental return and through this in turn grow distributions to our investors. We hold over $600 million of real estate in property investment trusts, capitalised by both retail and sophisticated investors. One of these trusts, the BlackWall Property Trust is listed on the ASX under the stock code BWR. We have a track record in real estate work-outs and urban renewal projects.
WOTSO is a wholly owned operating subsidiary of BlackWall Limited. WOTSO secures conventional office space and then adds value through contemporary fit out, high-speed connections, concierge and secretarial services and community engagement. The space is rented by the desk or the office on short-term, flexible rates. In addition, WOTSO offers project space, function areas and meeting rooms available for hire. The business in its current form commenced operation in June 2013 and has grown to house over 1,000 clients across numerous locations.

Richard Hill has extensive investment banking experience and was the founding partner of the corporate advisory firm Hill Young & Associates. Richard has invested in the Group’s projects since the early 1990s. Prior to forming Hill Young, Richard held a number of Senior Executive positions in Hong Kong and New York with HSBC. He was admitted as an attorney in New York State and was registered by the US Securities & Exchange Commission and the Ontario Securities Commission. Richard is Chairman of the Westmead Institute for Medical Research.
Seph has worked in the commercial property industry in New Zealand, the USA and Australia. Seph has driven large scale property development and financial structuring for real estate for over 30 years. In addition, since the early 1990s Seph has run many turnaround processes in relation to distressed properties and property structures for both private and institutional property owners.
While working for the Housing Corporation of New Zealand and then AMP, Seph qualified as a registered valuer and holds a Bachelor of Commerce. In the 1980s he served as an Executive Director with New Zealand based property group Chase Corporation and as a Non-Executive Director with a number of other listed companies in New Zealand and Australia.
Robin has around 40 years experience in investment and financial markets. He has been an investor in the Company’s projects since 1997. Robin is the Chairman of Vintage Capital Pty Ltd, an investment company with interests in property, wealth management, logistics and healthcare. He is a former member of the ASX and has served on the boards of several investment banks in Australia and overseas. Robin is also a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
Stuart has been involved in property development, management and funding for 20 years. Stuart has run debt and equity raisings in relation to listed and unlisted real estate structures worth over a half a billion dollars. In his earlier career, Stuart practised as a solicitor in the areas of real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate advisory with Mallesons and Gilbert + Tobin.
Stuart also sits on the Board as an Independent Director of Coogee Boys Preparatory School and Randwick Rugby Club.
Tim is the Chief Financial Officer for BlackWall and its funds. Tim is responsible for all aspects of these entities’ financial reporting, debt management and accounting operations. Tim joined the formerly listed Pelorus Property Group Limited in 2008 as Group Financial Controller and became Chief Financial Officer in 2009. He has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and has a Graduate Diploma from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. He started his career with Deloitte in their middle market audit division working on a wide variety of SMEs. In 2002 he joined Lend Lease Corporation and held a number of finance roles across the Lend Lease portfolio from development and retail financial management to corporate treasury, including Treasury Manager for Lend Lease’s European operations based in London.
Jessie is the General Manager of Property for BlackWall Limited and its funds. Jessie has been with BlackWall from early 2011 and over sees the management and operations of the property portfolio.
She has a Bachelor of International Communication from Macquarie University and finalising a Bachelor of Property Economics at the University of Technology Sydney.
BlackWall Property Trust (ASX:BWR) is a total return real estate investment trust (A-REIT). BlackWall Property Trust generates and distributes income returns from assets held in its Income Portfolio, and takes on special situations or development properties to generate above average NTA gains – the Growth Portfolio. Once assets in the Growth Portfolio stabilise or mature, they move to the Income Portfolio to grow distributions. The Trust either purchases real estate directly or holds positions in property joint ventures.
